I know that using scripted routines was a big part of this pickup movement in the beginning, as now all the once popular lines are well-exposed to the general public, they became quite obsolete. For me, I started using routines, but later came up with my own.

I have seen guys who appears natural on the surface, but they confess to using their own routines.

It's kind of like seeing an actor playing a very charismatic person on screen, which makes you like them, but in real life, they're very shallow, and actor who are very likeable people in real life, but the role they play made them hated, as what a good actor should do for a hated-character.

Seems to me like there should be a breaking line of being really natural and using routines, but I guess they are really synonymous in actuality.

As a guy who saw myself evolve over the past 1 year, i can tell u the most counterintuitive thing. Guys who say they got laid just bocz of a routine or stack miss once crucial point. naturals repeat a lot of material themselves but they have extremely high congruence with what they say. As starters Puas use routines to build up confidence and personality. Once ur routines and what u r( ur behavior and personality) achieve congruence, u will become a powerful seducer. What gets u girls and gets u laid r not routines or material but its ALWAYS ur personality and behavior patterns that you were able to convey through it. So discard the useless debate of routines vs natural game. Use routines if u r running out of things to say. but if the 'question game' got u laid, just realize that it wasnt the game, but some aspect of ur personality that matched with the routine that the girl got interested in. cheers

I agree with Magneto on this one. For me, i never felt congruent with lines/routines so they didn't work well. When I stopped using routines is when my results skyrocketed and i started to make a lot of progress.

Right now i would say i am a natural but like Magneto said I do use some things repeatidley. I developed them myself and i am 100% congruent so they work for me. Mind you these are not "lines" rather they are more like fun little things that ramp up attraction.
