Last night I was at a party and I was working on this girl Ive known over the years. We are pretty much just friends of friends and I cant even remember talking to her at all since the time Ive known her, so we were pretty much strangers. By the end of the night I was in her bed making out with her and up until this point she could not maintain eye contact with me for more than 3 seconds or so. Numerous times she told me she got nervous when I looked at her, and she described my gaze as "piercing." So Im wondering, is this good or bad? We hooked up so I assume its good but Im not completely sure

I would take it as an IOI, why? She is shy around you, and the eyecontact gives her that piercing feeling.

Now you need to build more comfort before you can escalate further.

It's a good thing. If she's nervy and on her toes, it's because she doesn't want her to fuck up.

My opinion, assure her, in whichever way you feel necessary, that she shouldn't feel nervy, but don't over do it. Her liking for you will grow, and it's your job to choose the direction you wish to go.
