Hey Forum. New question: how do you hold meaningful eye contact with a girl? I'm 16, and I got in the bad habit of looking down when a girl looks at me, but I'm working on it. My only thing is this: how do I look at her in the eyes, and portray confidence, and NOT portray creepyness? I mean, if I'm looking at a girl, and she glances at me, but I'm trying to make good eye contact, wouldn't she think I'm staring at her? I.e. walking down a hall, I see her, but if I look in her eyes the whole way, she'll get creeped out. How do I avoid this?

I would recommend holding eye contact with every one you see through out the day.

Think of it as a staring contest. At this point you want to develop the feeling of it being okay to do so with everyone and anyone.

When you look into someones eyes you may have a cringing in your stomach but just hold the contact and wait.
I know it feels awkward and creepy but just hold it.
Your the man, don't back down... they will blink or flicker their eyes away at some point. That's how you know you won. When you win either say hi or just simply walk away.

It is a lot like trying to gain good posture... you have to constantly straighten your back through out the day until it starts to become natural.
After a while it will become easier and easier and you will be able to develop attraction with just your eyes.

If theres one thing I am really good at its eye contact. Theres nothing to it, if you are listening and talking to her, theres nothing to think about but what you are hearing or what you are saying. If you arent listening, then you are thinking, thinking gets you in trouble.

I bet when you try to hold eye contact, your heart starts beating faster and you are wondering, 'am I holding it for too long', 'when should I look away'. You are shooting yourself in the foot. Be in the conversation.
