You are a pussy when:

1. You are texting with a girl without a purpose (text girls when you want to set up a day2, Or fucking don't) OR even worse: to build 'comfort'. Applies to facebook aswell. The point is that she has to get to know you in real-life instead of you sitting comfy in a chair behind a computer screen, because that's EASY. Also in real life you can do the grownups.

If this is you, delete your facebook and throw away your phone.

2. Are nodding your head when a girl talks about her favorite purse, unless you really like talking about purses. Or general weather talk.

"that's cool, but check this out....." start talking about something relevant to your taste. This gets you into a talkative state as opposed to what nodding your fucking head to everything she says does for you.
She has girlfriends to discuss purses with, you don't want to be that guy.

which leads to:

3. Are afraid you might scare off a girl when you're being honest.

Try being honest, then see what happens. The fear "she might leave me" is between the eardrums. Honesty always rewards. Even if she leaves because you told her you didn't want a relationship, she wasn't the girl you were looking for.

If this sounds like an abstract concept or even shooting yourself in the leg:
LEARN TO VALUE HONESTY OVER DISHONESTY. It'll serve you greatly, not only with women, but your personal growth as well.

Damn, reading this made me realize number 2 was EXACTLY what i'd do with my ex girlfriend, I'd just let her do all the talking, and talking, and talking.. no wonder she got bored and left me, I won't be making that mistake again!

Number 3, I'm generally an honest person anyway, though I do sometimes hold back what I think, should I just speak my mind in the future then? If a girl is annoying me, just tell her?

Number 1, I agree with to a point. But I don't see a problem with general, fun flirty texting once you've already met up as long as you're planning another meeting through the texts at the same time? I text girls all the time, though most of them are my friends, so I'm guessing that's different.

Brilliant post :)

Yeah fuckin oath to number 1, but I think random c/f texts are still ok to keep her interest level high in between meetups. If you do start a text conversation, make sure the end result is a meetup.

Great post!

Yup

HB: "so like, my friends cat is so awesome because like, you know how like, some cats are lame and stuff, but like this one..."
PUA: "You know you're still talking right?"

Agree with this post, take note of it and you'll be out of the AFC zone in no time.

there's nothing wrong with an occasional fun flirty text.
"you know what?"
"whut"
"i'm pretty hot"

I think that stuff is hilarious.

But bridging it to a meet up does so much more for your game. And it's something you've got to learn naturally.

I think the main factor why guys have difficulty with a follow up to a date is fear of success. As long as it's fun and games it's cool but once it becomes REAL:

WHAT IF, she responds well.... Damn I'd really have to follow up or lose her. SUCH A HASSLE.

Suddenly it becomes very real. Up in your face real. Some of you know what I'm talking about. I fucking know. It's the biggest hurdle in my life I had to take, and still taking every day. And there's only one solution:

Suck it up. The earlier you let it become real, the earlier you'll get used to it. And that's when the poo tang really starts flowing. There is no better time than right now.

It's the same with everything in this game. AA for instance.

It's just a wall you've got to push yourself through, the earlier the better.
Once you learn to deal with it, it becomes easier.

P.S.

DON'T FORGET THE + VOTES.

hur durrrr

WTF? A bump? OK, OK . . . I get it. I'm mousing over the + now . . .

I fully endorse 1, 2, 3, and sometimes:

4. If you bump your own thread. (Insert cymbal crash here)

Felt like more people could read it before it dies off to page 2.

Who goes to page 2 anyway?

For number one... what about if you are out of town for a period of time ( 3 weeks) but want to keep a connection ?

Yeah, and make her think you have nothing better to do while away (assuming you're going away on free will to a new place worth exploring).

I wouldn't.

Set up a date when you come back to get back in touch and talk about your crazy adventures while you went away, wouldn't that be more effective?

p.s.

This falls under texting for the sake of "building comfort"

Thanks..

btw just home for christmas break.. so not completely non stop fun. but regardless I see where you are coming from.. 3 weeks is a long time to lose contact.. nothing at all, even a solid opener to spark interest but not lead to convo
