The problem is with those opener is that when you use it you are expecting the answer you are looking for. The situation does not call for such opener in the first place. It's great that you are getting physically IOI afterwards.

Most likely you would get away just by simply cutting topic. Or make up some fertilizer opinion that girls are generally insecure and your psycology class was doing an experiment; Tell her she is the only one who FAILED then Ask for her number before she gets off.
