I can get a woman as I have proven to myself when with another mate who knows women. I find that as soon as the girl finds out that Im his mate (pre selection switch) she is all over me (point of view ) (ok maybe a ego thing) but go out on my own (same guy same face) and all this other shit comes into play and always feels like i shouldnt have bothered.
I know I can get girls with a mate I get on with when we get on , have a great laugh and see a girl who likes us (or me) and it seems then i can do no wrong and at least get true affection if not all the way, BUT, I cant get the same results with going out on my own.
My mate who now is miles away and married cannot go out with same pick up frame of course and when i went round with him it didnt happen at all! Then I went out on the pull with next door neighbour but hes only interested in getting himself a girl not me- so no joy.
Im just finding it impossible to believe after my own experiences of needing a mate with me to get a woman -that is is possible to get laid without backup and encouragement and that why the hell does having a friend with me make me oh so more compelling when its still the same guy???

You should marry him, and pick up chicks together for the rest of eternity!
