Ok so this is somewhat a shit test... my girlfriend hates surprises. Not actually BEING surprised, but more like when I tell her she has to wait for it. So every time, she'll automatically get genuinely pissed because I won't spoil it for her (even though the surprise is always something nice for her. Go figure).

I figured this is the more alpha approach anyway, since I'm not taking her orders to "TELL ME NOW!" But at the same time, is it a good thing to keep her pissed for an even LONGER amount of time? Oh and by the way, if I try to make jokes to lighten the mood, it only makes it worse because she thinks I'm not taking her seriously. She's stubborn as hell lol. Is there some way to hold my grounds without getting my head incinerated in fire?
