Me and a friend always sit on this bench where a cute girl walks by everyday for a few weeks. Would it be a good idea to get up and talk to her, or can I stay sitting and just call her over like:"Hey whats up, what's your name". what else could i say. Also, I hear shes likes drinking, could I open her with that. Another problem is that i asked her bestfriend about her and she told me that I wasn't her type, which has been preventing me from approaching sooner.

Never go by what someone else says, there could b ulterior motives involved. She may just not like u. If your not her type, become her type. You shouldnt have a type. Since when do you need 2 be someones type to date or see a good guy? If a girl says your not her type it a polite way of saying "I dont like you"

Sitting is not an alphamale trait. Sitting is submissive stance in the animal kingdom as long as your lower than she is. This is not a quality male attribute. Stand up walk right up 2 her, introduce yourself, dont make an ass out of yourself, be funny, be confident and if u need practice your routine on ugly girls where you dont care what their responce is gonna be.

If you truely arent her "type" there isnt much you can do. But get her interested in you, be interesting, set your good points ahead so she sees your a quality guy. If you go down in flames then you go down in flames. But dont get nothing out of the deal. Just tell her u your cool as friends and use her as a pivot
