I've experimented around with this in the past and have gotten mixed results. I just got a new job and I'll be traveling alot. Everytime I go out to a bar when I'm traveling, it seems like my chances of getting an F-close decrease once the chick finds out that I don't live there. It's almost like she knows there's no chance for a relationship so she'll just friend zone me quicker. Many times I'll lie and say I live there or I'm moving there. This has gotten me a couple F-closes (where it wouldn't have, had I not lied).

Should I just be like fuck it and not worry about it? Just tell the truth and not care if it decreases my "number of F-closes on the first day." What do you think?

lets say u met some girl and u started to talk with her... then she asks u; u around here?

the slut thing is not an issue here... u need to brake this defence by giving her enough DHVs so she will be attracted to u so much that she will not feel sluty...

u want to save this reletionship and lieing is not the way.

i picked this "theory" from one of Mysterys smeniars and it worked for me greatly.

try it once on some girl.. and if it wont work so keep up with what helped u and dont change it.

I don't see why you have to lie about not being local, maybe it's just the town that you've been to. From my own experiences, not being local gives you a lot of advantage:
- You always have excuses to ask her for a tour around town without sounding needy asking her out.
- Lot of girls tend to be more wild and loose around travelers, why do you think lot of girls have vacation sex.
- DHV, you will be surprised how many ppl have never left their hometown their whole life, especially if you say you're on a business trip or something, it shows that you have a busy lifestyle.
- Lot of hookpoints, you can always toss out topics about other towns that she has never been to, asking what good in her town (she will qualifying with you if it's her hometown)
- Once you get K-close, ask her to take a walk with you, then ACCIDENTALLY stop by your hotel to pick up stuffs. She wouldn't hesitate to come up if you say you need to stop real quick to get your jackets, check your emails, etc
- Easy opener to anyone, hey im new in town blah blah blah. No one will turn down a friendly tourist
