The reason other guys can't get further with a girl after being friends is not because they became friends, but because of the way their friendship was. You see, a friend can just be someone that teases and generally gets along with a girl. A friend can also be the type of guy that not only gets along, but acts like a pussy around the girl. I have friends that are pussies, and friends that are tough and don't take shit from anyone. The difference is that the "pussy" friends are usually the type of guys that just act enthusiastic and hyper. This hyperness or excessive silliness does make a girl smile and laugh, but it's what turns her off from seeing you as a potential boyfriend or mate. The tough guys on the other hand, just treat their female friends with a lot less enthusiasm and hyperactivity. This doesn't mean that they act a lot more formal, but instead act a lot more mature. And acting mature doesn't mean to be making less moves on a girl. A tough guy could just as easily kino escalate and do things that most guys wouldn't do to girls.
