Whenever I get my picture taken with a HB or a group of friends or look darn right terrible. I look great in real life but just absolutely awful in pictures.

Sometimes my eyes look real wide, my smile looks retarded and just make face looks lik erghh lol

I want to be able to post these pics on facebook, especially me with a HB to DHV but I look so bad that I just can't do it.

Anyone know how I can make myself more photogenic so that I actually look cool in my pictures?

I have exactly the same problem lol. In half my pictures I look like a fat chinese guy, I try and pose nicely but it seems to go in the opposite direction.

LMAO mate that made me laugh! Do you tend to tense up before a photo and try to force a smile? This is what I do.

I think maybe we need to just relax.

I'm hoping some photographers, models or just people who know how to look good in photos can give us some pointers

I need to learn this secret. My best side seems to be behind someone.

I usually think looking "normal" is my best until I see the picture, and then I think WTF was I thinking, I look like a jackass.

If I smile I look like the guy who farted just before the photo; wondering if anyone noticed.

I want to have all the great photos of people I meet and women I know and known, but so far almost ever picture I have had taken isn't worthy. If I were to show a HB a collection of my photos, I would be like "thats me looking constipated, and this ones me looking like I spilled hot coffee on myself.

I'm going to revisit this thread. I hope someone has the answers.

take some pics of yourself from diff angles diff facial expressions, find out wat looks good

The thing ive realized tho is ur emotional state translates alot more clearly in 2D.. and the camera picks up any discomfort, awkwardness or rigidity you might experience when u get your picture taken..

I sat infront of my web cam and experimented w. different facial expressions, and I realized my natural smile.. the type i have when Im genuinely amused with something.. looks down right sexy in a pic.. but if I force it, it looks real cheesy and weird.
