We all know what neg theory is and some of us know what disasters can come if you accidentally over-negged the girl or made some thing up that turned out to be "in-appropriate", ect.

Another aspect of the neg theory is that it can be a "self disqualifier" as well. Example: telling them you are gay. Or if you are into advanced play --- tell them you have a GF thing (if you are familiar with Gambler's or Spears's routine).

I think self-disqualifiers can be safer than lowering her self-esteem.

I travel a lot for my job --- so when I meet women I start off my A1 with something about how I just got back in town and that I'm not even in this city half of the time --- and that I even forget which city I am currently in quite often.

In this case --- I took some advice from Ten Magnet (I think) and he said that when in another town --- go ahead and tell them -- you'll be seen as scarce and/or valuable etc.

Does anyone here know of any modification you can do with this? I would think this is a double edged sword --- a girl might not want to invest in you if you aren't going to be around much.

Any other self-disqualifiers you can think of??

disqualification DHV's cuz it communicates disinterest..
