I've been dating this girl for a bit over 2 months with maybe 10 dates in that period. We talk rather frequently, she usually initiates conversation and up until this point talked almost every day (every once in a while there would be a day break or so, but it was rare)

I spoke with her Thursday before she left for a short road trip but didn't speak with her all this weekend until today when I sent her a text that she didn't answer (didn't require a response though, just something humorous that happened over the weekend).

Before I went to bed I noticed she was on chat so I sent her a message saying that I had an idea of something fun to do on Tuesday and that she should come. It was on facebook and I saw her posting stuff through my feed and then she logged off about 30 minutes after I sent the message. wtf.

I've got a couple of other prospects so I'm not sure if I should just move on or what. I mean if you're sleeping with someone you should at least respond to their messages, that behavior kind of pisses me off.

What's the appropriate way to handle a girl you're sleeping with when she starts to flake out like this? If I don't hear from her in the next few days should I message her and ask her what her deal is? Or some other strategy where I play it cool and or stay persistent?

Here are questions you need to answer to yourself (not necessarily here):

Are you two having sex regularly? (atleast once a week)

Why would you think shes ignoring you? (As a big techie, facebook chat is not real time. Her session could of 'timed out'. I have people pissed at me all the time as I can login and out on facebook within 1 minute and the next day I have several, "Are you ignoring me? hello... hello" messages. The text message you sent didn't need a reply.)

So now you are gonna ignore her for a few days...?? Doesn't make sense.

Also, you are holding out for her from other prospects (that I am assuming are better). Does she know that you are in an exclusive relationship?

I think you may be over reacting just a tad.

Edit: Go see your girl. If she DIDN'T miss you after going away on a road trip, then you have your answer. If she did miss you, have her spent the night so you two can get caught up.

Sex is regular, once a week.

Reason? Might be busy, but if she's tooling on facebook when I AIM her she probably isn't. That and she usually gets right back to me or initiates conversation with me frequently, so not responding is atypical.

And yeah I am putting other prospects on the sidelines, but we haven't talked about exclusivity.

You say see her, but that's hard I she dosent respond. How persistent should I be and what should I say not to come across as needy? At what point do I send a message along the lines of "to cool for me now?"? at what point do I give up?

you probably should give up and stop messaging her..if she wants something from you she gona contact you.
