Would you take a cell phone pic of a women's outfit and show it to some chick if you thought she'd look good in it? Not a random chick, but not one you've slept with yet. Or is that a LJBF move unless she's already your girlfriend?

You could, and some fellers would be able to do it, and be cool about it, and not be creepy.

But the fact that you're asking makes me suggest trying that idea another time (not any time soon).

excuse my first comment. When I first read it, I figured that the outfit was actually ON a different girl.
If it's not on a different girl, its not creepy, it's just weird. Like what guy has a random pic of a girl's outfit on his phone?

I was thinking along the lines of building rapport. "I see you, think about you(not necessarily ALL the time), and have some sense of who you are". It might even work as a stealth non-date, if she doesn't know how to get to the store.

Taking pictures of random girls outfits to help her decide what she would look good in is not exactly building rapport, it's insulting. She'll most likely take it rude and that will ultimately reflect her judgement on your common sense and character.

I'd say you should do it if you're half nuts and random and don't give a shit! But if you wanna keep this girl and wanna look normal, no man, that's not a cool thing to do.

It's more of a neg. Instead, let's pretend that she is with you and you are talking. Point to a girl's outfit or clothing in a store and say "Omg, that outfit would look so cute on you" Something along those lines. It's not a direct insult. But don't sound gay when you do this and make sure that you don't do it too often. Follow up with something different off-topic. Give her the neg, but don't give her time to get mad at you.
