I'm very select with my openers, although my dress since, although not entirely peacocking is subtle peacocking in itself.Last weekend I was wearing skinny grey jeans with a baggy cardigan and some jewelery.I walked into a bar and opened straight away to a 2 set at the bar with 'Can I get an opinion from you ladies, my friends are giving me a doing over this cardigan I'm wearing tonight, and although I can assure I am hetrosexual and in full working order (cheeky smile) do I look to you like a homosexual'.This provoked debate immediately as one girl complimented me, but the other girl agreed with my pals, she was also wearing a cardigan, quiet similar to mine so I negged her a bit that mine was nicer and a better fit, before she could point out I was wearing a girls top.She was my target.I stayed at the set for about 5 minutes using a time restraint,and also the bar service was quiet slow, so it gained me a minute or two anyway because we were at the counter.I number closed the other girl, (by accident almost) but so be it.I'm conscious of this opener though as it brings the attention to me, although it does have benefits.Is this a good opener, because I've been dolling it up in my head since and have some pretty good lines to go with it, and am not sure whether to use it again.Can I get an opinion?!Cheers lads.

I would not open with your opener. Your pretty much saying your insecure and you need validation from other people because your friends are not giving you any.

Don't put to much effort into your openers. I open with saying hi usually.
