Calibrating the friend zone

So I met this girl about a month ago. I've hung out with her quite often and seen her almost everyday. Yes I know, that was a mistake in itself.

So im starting to really "like" her but Im afraid im in the friend zone.

Im thinking since 1 month is a short time, I could be a complete douchebag prick and avoid all contact with her as well for a week or so. And then in the meantime if i see her I just be a dick. Would that take me out of the friend zone?

Month is not a "short" time, in a way it's too long, you should have made a move ages ago

BUT! it's not too late, you have to make a move, and make it soon
