Yes, I know I should know better, but those business interns are all 9s and 10s. What am I suppose to do?

I haven't introduce myself yet, and I am always eating lunch with a team of guy engineers (yes, I am one). I am still very green in the business, so I am scared as hell.

However, the thing is, my plan is not to be in a relationship with any of them, I just wanted to be one of their really close friends. Rumor says they have a huge circle of friends who are all really hot and educated (from what I am seeing them, I do believe it). So that is really my intentions.

Now, I was thinking something about going in lunch during their time, and sit next to them and doing some opener like "I am new in this company (which I really am) and I haven't met you guys yet, my name is and I work in ".

- I would then ask them who they are and what their department is.

- then probably add a funny story or two

- and now I would do a cold reading on them (palmistry?). Nothing Kino, but how about just touching the hand?


So after first meeting, I could catch them at their coffee breaks individually and say something like:

"Hey, what is your number, we can probably go out for lunch sometime."


I am trying to act as a psychic so that they could get their friends to see me, would this work?

Also, is this approach low-risk, would there be any suggestions that could minimize those risks?
