Depends how you do it.

If you just say "do you like me" then it's needy and awkward and it sucks.

If you manage to have a normal conversation about random stuff and she ends up saying "you know what, I actually really like you" at the end of it, then yes this is a massive IOI and you can expect enough compliance to kino plough and get to comfort relatively quickly.

It's this kind of thing that roots directly back to men needing instant gratification and being logical.

Alot of guys want to hear it from the girls mouth like it's a verbal contract. That alone takes out alot of spontinaity (sp?) with each other. Women dont like saying this just as much as they dont like hearing a guy say this. If they say it, it's always more of the bf/gf crap "Oh, I love you baby!!!". That just comes out automatically, there isn't really any kind of strong feelings that accompany it...well, not the kind you're looking for.

A woman can say anything to most guys like above and they'd melt. If a woman really has the feelings that accompany that, she will SHOW you rather than simply say it. Being around you all of the time, calling, texting, active sex life, things like that. Even when s relationship is officiated, it's usually not a good idea to verbalize feelings like that.

Besides, if you're around a girl that likes you long enough, and she wants to say it she will in her own time. They take this shit seriously, if you egg it on or ask her, she might either say nothing or give you a half hearted response.

I've asked plenty of girls this same question, I dont recall ever getting the fairy tale kiss like in the movies.
