So today I called a girl that I've been texting every now and then for the last couple of weeks. She's one of those girls who has a boyfriend but didn't ever mention it to me. Decent IOI. So I called her with the intention of asking her out. She sounded tired/bored/some shit when she picked up, and I got nervous, forgot to tease/neg/fluff talk, basically fucked up, and said I had to go after like two minutes without asking her out.

Half an hour later, I text her saying something like oh btw I almost forgot to tell you, come hang out with me and my friends later this week at blah blah event. It should be fun. She texts me back saying that she won't be able to party for now since she's busy with midterms. This was the first IOD I ever got from her. All other times she texted me were IOIs such as wondering what I was up to or wanting to go clubbing with me. I play it cool and text her back saying it's alright if she can't make it.

Obviously she doesn't give a shit. I mean honestly, I'm some random guy she met at a party and never saw again in real life. Plus she has a boyfriend. So my chances of fucking her just pretty much went down the toilet.

However, I'm not gonna bitch and moan about that. I know that failures can be turned into wingwomen. The question is how? She's probably not gonna call/text me. And if I call/text her, especially if I do it in the next couple days, that's gonna lower my value and she probably wouldn't even wanna be friends.

So do I freeze out and wait for her to make a move? Or do I pretend this didn't happen and just invite her to the next party/clubbing/wahtever. I actually wanna be her friend cause she has a good personality in addition to probably having many hot friends. But I don't wanna seem like some desperate AFC trying to fuck her.
