I met this girl in a bar and we had a nice conversation and she gave her number too. It was fun with her that night. I called her after 2 days to know if she is interested in meeting that weekend, but she said she is busy and she is out of station this coming weekend too. So I called her today to ask her out for tomorrow. Initially she was not sure if she is doing anything tomorrow, so she said she will call me back. And she called me back and told that she is going to friend's birthday. In short, she chickened out. She also told me that she is free next weekend and she would be happy to meet. Now I don't want to show myself as a needy person, but I definitely want to go out with her. I have told her that I will call her back later. So what should I say to her so that she will come for a date finally. I can't go running after her all the time.

Hmm, this is a bit tough, cause not exactly sure on what kind of terms youre with her.

Id say cancel any plans for next weekend. It makes you seem needy and available, as well as desperate. Be busy, find a party and tell her you cant go.

Then on your own terms make plans. Try to be aloof.
