On page 34 of The Mystery Method, Mystery says, "Men seek more replication value than survival value from women, and women seek more survival value then replication value from men. In fact, the women of health-and-beauty-conscious America, though perhaps disgruntled by the true nature of their humanity, are well aware that their social value can be rated largely on their looks." This contrasts, though, with what he said on page 24. "Because a woman's attraction circuitry is calibrated less to a man's physical characteristics than to his social, and hence survival, value, her emotions are at the center of her thoughts and actions."

Why would women be perhaps disgruntled with the true nature of their humanity? If men seek more replication value than survival value from women and survival value is more or less the same as social value, then wouldn't it make more sense to say (based on this logic), that replication value is largely based on looks?

Would being healthy and in shape fall under survival value or replication value?

Being fit and healthy will go under survival and that's why you see so many sporty lads get hbs. Plus they usually have more social value as they are in a large social group.
