Well I been talking to this girl I know and I got her attracted. Tons of easily IOI's. Now today, she's going through some hard times, I think it maybe be about her ex. I don't wanna be an emotional tampon. But I like her, what should I do? Is it bad to help her fix herself?

nah just be careful not to get friend-zoned. Also think about the bigger picture, do you really want to get into something with a girl who is emotionally fucked up? Also bear in mind she may be on the rag so it might only be something simple like that.

Good luck!

I was in your position exceptthe girl had a boyfriend who abused her and treated her like shit.

I was her emotional tampon, but not from the get go, I voluntered to help out - it wasnt to get into her pants but because I genuinely cared for her and wouldnt wish what she was going through on anyone else. She was a nice girl who became guarded as a consequence of what her boyfriend did to her.

Guess what? she has gone off with another guy, she barely speaks to me and I think she is still with her boyfriend. All in the space of a week. One week we were chatting and I "made her smile" and now I barely get a word. I have known this girl for over a year.

How devastated do I feel? I feel shit cos I cared for her and genuinely liked her yet she bats me out the park at the drop of a hat.

Ill tell you this now, and I dont want to tarnish all girls with the same brush, but do not help cos she will just ditch you for someone else at the drop of a hat. You help her if you want to help her rather than wanting to get something out of it but ultimately if she goes off with someone else - YOU WILL BE DESTROYED, HURT AND ANGRY.

Thats my experiences and opinion.

BF-destroy.
when you are with her, make her have the best time of her life. when you are talking about her Ex, anchor him with bad emotions..

let her understand how fun it is with you vs. how bad it is with him.

Cold read their relationship, make him a bastard and her a victim...

you won't fail.

Good luck !!

Mike.

^^^^ I disagree.

Even if an abusive relationship the woman will often defend her partner if someone from the outside puts him down.

It's not uncommon for a girl to make her boyfriend sound like the devil when she's talking about him, but then get defensive when someone else starts doing it.

Think about when you're criticizing something about yourself and then your friend agrees with you. You get slightly offended, yes? Think about it.

I agree with this.

Girls tend to have a sense of loyalty to guys especially if they are abusive - they try to justify why they are still with that specific guy - theyre in denial so to speak.

From my experiences, she hated her boyfriend but when you get treated badly by someone you "love" you hate them more for treating you like that.

Its a tough situation. The boyfriend will always win, even if they are broken up. The boyfriend or ex will always have a special place in her heart and will have her believe, even in the future, that he has changed etc.
