Heard about the site from a few people, is it a sausage fest??? In theory it seems tougher because of the amount of competition.

I've met couple HBs from POF, I would say the real HBs are always a lil less than their pictures. But yea on average, a 7 or 8 HB receives about 50 messages a day not counting the amount of IM invitation she would get. Now you get an idea how the competition would be like, be different and interesting.

The way i'm seeing it right now.......

HB 6-7's must get attention like HB10s because of the amount of competition on the site. Because of the selection of men that they get they naturally become extremely 'picky' the average guy doesn't have a decent chance. I've set up a profile and sent out a few msgs, but because I'm just average and don't have model-like looks it'll be difficult to get their attention.

It's free so why not...there are some good looking girls on there...I have met a few 8's there, but it can be tough as they ARE getting a lot of attention, but just as it is in bars, guys are retards and don't write anything good...

Write something that shows you read her profile AND witty....make YOU stand out just as in the real world!

I guess its a challenge to conquer. Got a couple replies, but they are just average ones....

Ive met 3, banged one of them. The other one I believe was socially awkard. Worked for a while. The last one I met was a fu$#ing psycho. Havent really used it since.

I've actually found it to be good practice for openers and practicing negs. Because it forces you to be creative otherwise be doomed into oblivion. I've practiced negs here as well, seeing what works and testing the sensitivity of a girl's personality. I believe you when you say you've met people with personality flaws. The site is a magnetic pole for that stuff. I've been lucky so far avoiding the psychos and freaks.

Made an account as a joke, tried to delete account... had to complete 100 question survey and fill out personal details just to remove myself from the mailing list, and then delete the account.

Stick to eHarmony or Match.com.

I have been on POF and OKcupid for a while and never met crazies or weirdos....You screen that by the first couple of e-mails...

Don't go to Match or the ones you pay for...lame...your game should be good enough that these dating sites/fb are SIDE NOTES!, not your main game...people who pay for these sites are using this as a huge source of their dating life...


My Advice: GET OUT IN THE WORLD and let the online stuff just be ANOTHER avenue of meeting people...not the Main Source....

Well I live in a small community so not much to pick from for me. For me it's basically milfs or nothing.

I've actually been getting a pretty good hit rate on POF for replies. My profile is completely blank and has nothing except my picture on it. If you open up with something funny or clever about a girl's profile she does tend to respond rather than trying to compliment her.

Tricks for POF

Make your profile short and funny, don't say gay shit like "I'm a super cool guy looking to hang out with a fun girl for blah blah whatever" don't fill in the boxes like they want you to, be original.

NEVER message a girl who says she's looking for an "intimate encounter" because then you won't be able to message ANY OTHER GIRLS afterwards (fucking lame but true)

When you send a message, again be funny and original, short and sweet i.e. NOT "Subject: Hi. Hey you seem cool what's up how are you?"

As a learning exercise, try setting up a fake account of a reasonably attractive girl and see how many messages you get and what they're like. Now you know what NOT to do.

When you get a reply, build a lot of screening and qualification questions into your message whilst telling a DHV story in your reply. Turn the conversation sexual by the 3rd and arrange to meet by the 4th, if not earlier. Any more than 5 emails and you're wasting your time.

You can mass email a funny opener, but try and add at least one sentence that has something to do with her profile. It can be a little neg about something, or just "I see there's a photo of you in New York, I was actually there..." etc. tell a little DHV story about being NY and then ask her about her time there, for example.

Make your stories open threads by asking questions. This gives her material to respond to you with. If you just tell 5 DHV stories about how awesome you are and then ask her to get back to you, she has nothing to talk about because you haven't asked her anything.

Don't substitute online stuff for going in field. Use it as an additional piece to your gaming.

If you don't get off the internet on POF within a couple email exchanges and make a date in real life, they flake...EVEN IF THEY LIKE YOU! ....so work fast and furious!
