I always was skeptical of 'fake it till you make it' ... I tried it before and it improved my game a little bit pretending to be something I wasn't but it wasn't something that lasted.

I feel like its trying to build a house on a sink hole - its all gunna collapse on you and you've wasted time and resources that you put into the house.

My feeling is to build a solid foundation first. That way if you ever take a break from PUA, you can pick up where you left off and not have to start all over again.

Build a solid foundation of confidence within yourself then see results. Don't have a nice car that makes you confident, because with out the car your nothing.

So what is a solid foundation?

Its finding values in your life that when your own your death bed you can be proud of. Ever person is going to be different but for me it includes...

1. Being Assertive
2. No crying/moaning/bitching if things don't go my way
3. Friends and Family come first
4. Solid work ethic
5. Being all around proud of the actions that i make/taking responsibility if i F up.

I'm telling you if you take time to really develop your foundation, you can have an amazing house thats going to last for ever full of HBs.

I agree, and once you really have a grip on these all those HBs are just icing on the cake, you'd also be truly happy without them, and THAT'S the true goal in life :)

funny, this question is kind of ironic or paradoxical, not sure which.

you can make yourself more assertive by not asking for people's permission or guidance, and instead doing whatever you want.

Great stuff Mack.

Change the way you talk to people. instead of "hey do you mind if you could xxxx thanks!" say.. "do xxxx"

Being assertive is about if you want something your going to speak up and get it. It doesn't mean the other person life is going to be worse, it just means your going to stick up for what you want.

"don't ask for permission, ask for forgiveness"
