SO heres the deal

Last weekend i was at a party with a bunch of my friends. The party was at a girls house and one of her roomates started flirting with me. I left half way through the night to go to a buddies house. However, one of my friends that stayed said that the girl that was flirting with me kept talking about me and that she would date me. So my friend gave me her number.. I want to send her a text asking her out. I know text ask outs are lame, but i have done them successfully in the past but this is kind of a different scenario.

One weird thing is that i tried adding her as a friend on facebook, but she wont add me for some odd reason. My picture on my profile isnt of me so im assuming thats why.

What is the best way to ask out via text and not sound stupid. Note that this girl gave me her number through this friend of mine. Advice would be appreciated. Please dont tell me to call, since i know that the best option, but not going to do it.

Hey man I know you said don't tell you to call but I am going to tell you too. Asking out via text message makes them more likely to flake on you and it shows you don't have much confidence. Don't EVER ask her out over text message.

Call her and bring back that fun vibe you both had at the party, remind her of the fun things you did or talked about. Get her back into that fun and playful mindset and then ask her out somewhere.

The idea of the text is to bring up the heat, remind her of fun vibe and escalate sexually.

You want to tease her over text so that she's happy to get the phone call.
