Today I went to the gym and found a pretty cute girl running next to me. Eventually she asked me to watch her stuff while she went to get something to drink. I said fine, she came back and we started talking. Eventually I asked for her number and she gave it to me. Problem is she said "everybody needs a workout buddy right?" and added it in

my problem:

1) Did I do a good job?
2) She's probably like 8 years older so it was only practice
3) I asked rather than told her to put it in out of instinct

Anyway the conversation started with me asking her what she does she said she is part of a law firm, trying to be an actor, and in school. So I said "Ahhhh so your dream is to become an actress playing a role as a teacher in a law firm?" I have yet to text but I just want to know of I did well and what I could of done better

Depending on the way she said: 'Everybody needs a workout buddy, right?' She either tries to make you get rid off the idea you could hook-up or she tries to make an excuse to give someone 8 years younger her phone number meaning she might hook-up.

Also I wonder what age you are. A 12 year old hooking up with a 20 year old is impossible, 20yr with a 28yr is alot more realistic and a 30yr with a 38yr is no biggy. I think (considering the information you gave us) only you really know if this is going to work out or not. You could do with finding out her real age to be honest. A lot of people can look older/younger than what they actually are...

I'm assuming because she told me she works as an intern and is in cooking school. So compared to a senior in High school thats a lot of work

bottom line is, it doesnt really matter. thats one of those questions thats just better off never asking, is a girls age. because then she will ask yours, and you dont want her running it through her head if suddenly its a bad idea due to your age.

the workout buddy comment, is a typical comment from a girl, where she can give you her number without sounding like a slut. so you did good.

the only problem i forsee here, is you need to figure out a way to meet her outside the gym. where you will have a chance at walking her home, dropping her off, or the like, and youll have the opportunity to close. being that youre only 17, you cant exactly take her out for a drink or anything.

I didn't mean ask outright as that is the dumb thing to do. But you can find it out by subtle questions like he has already.
