I'd say it's more a question of potential. Not everyone can get a girlfriend as they currently are, but anyone can get a girlfriend if they're willing to change and become a better person (and maybe some tricks and gambits wouldn't hurt either).

So what? If there is a chance that someone might not get a girlfriend he should just lay down and give up? Heck no. If I was crippled with a deformed head, I would still work my ass off (or back off If I hapenned not to have an ass left) to be the best that I could be.

I believe everyone can get a girlfriend. It's just a question of lowering your standards. Now that where working on yourself pays off (PUA, Self help books, improving your lifestyle...). You get to go beyond your standards.

No, not everyone can get a girlfriend. More people can than you'd think, though. It's not a lie, it's more like saying "everyone can learn to read" when there are a few people who are born with severe enough brain defects that they can't learn to read.

Some few people may be so horribly and permanently broken they can't get a girl... but very few people are likely to be in that bad of shape.
