I realized I subconsciously said some habit AFC phrase last night even though my game was success. Just thought it would be nice to make a list of those common AFC mistake so people can be aware of. I'll start first:

1. "I'll see you soon?" - totally AFC part of me, I deserve a kick in the butt.
2. "Drive safe" - I'm not totally sure about this one
3. "Babe"

4) you are so beautiful

5) can i buy you a drink?

6) hi my name is_____

7) can i ask you a question?

not really phrases to avoid but if said right off the bat will trigger her auto-response.

Could be a well put together list, but once your past a certain stage and/or getting into a relationship, a lot of them are acceptable, just don't over do it, you need to show a girl in a relationship some sense of security and comfort, with compliments, making plans etc, again, don't over do it, know your limits.

"i'll see you soon" (no ?) is the opposite of afc, just a little inflection in the voice can mean the difference.

I think the inflection on the end makes it very AFC. It's like, "can we please hang out again soon?"

Saying it without the inflection with alot of cockiness to it is great IMO. It's assuming the sale. Like you're calling the shots.
Like, .... "I'll see ya again soon. (period not a question mark). Later gurl!

Delivery is huge in all phrases said.
In saying that 'drive safely' isn't something I'd say, but as for 'see you soon' etc, delivered correctly in a possibly cheeky manor (which is how I personally would use it) is fine and not AFC at all.

it's all about delivery and the situation.

i personally use things like drive safely and have a good night, there's nothing wrong with a good set of manners.

The worst of all time is the "sweet dreams" text message every AFC seems to send after a good first date date. Lord in heaven, let me brush my teeth before you bombard me with such chumpy sentiments!

Also any time a guy asks me about other guys ("so I bet guys approach you all the time" or "so like, how many boyfriends do you have right now?") I want to barf. So pathetic.

I agree, manners important, can set you from the rest, jus don't go too deep.

Also for the post by Z, sweet dreams is good if she's your GF, keeping her sweet is good.

All indirect proposals are AFC in my opinion. It shows that you lack confidence to ask the women out in a straight-forward manner and are looking to sneak an opportunity out. You sound fearful of rejection.

"Call me if you want to do this again"

When I first said that (I knew the date already failed), I felt as if my pride was shooting out of my mouth along with those words.
