How can i be sure to handle this smoothly in the beginning phase?
Thanks.

I would not advocate outright dishonesty either, in part because it can be difficult to remember your own lies and you're quite likely to get caught at it if you say things that are blatantly inconsistent. I'd recommend doling out truth or relevant information in small doses, and only when the depth of your relationship merits it. Deflection could also be helpful here, if she asks, turn the question back on her as well, or subtly shift the subject.

Don't talk down your exes like calling them bitches and stuff, but don't act like you still love them or anything. _________________ Every Saint has a Past, Every Sinner has a Future

What about when they ask you if you've been in love? Many girls insist on asking me questions about my ex-girlfriends. When my last gf was/ If I give them one word answers then they'll ask more questions such as why did you two break up? And I feel like talking about the past and giving those details is not a good thing atthe start of dating =/

Some girls ask me why I don't have a girlfriend and I tell them while rolling my eyes around showing carelessness for her, "I'm looking for an intelligent girl." Not only does that add value to you since you're picky AND you look further than looks, but it also makes the girl liking you to question her value against YOURS.
If I'm told to define love, I just say, "Love is the wind, you can't see it or hear it, you can only feel it." It's a pretty unique answer, nothing sophisticated like most guys would say.
If I'm asked if I've ever been in love, I tell them, "It's not a matter of being in love, it's a matter of having felt love." What this does is that it makes you argue with her that it's NOT a matter of being in love, it's also a unique answer in itself.
