Has anyone had a girl seem really keen, only to meet up and seem completely different? Yet still say she wants to go further.

Would many girls lie, claim to want to meet again and kiss a guy they weren't interested in, to avoid an awkward situation
How do you take control of a relationship and force her to cut the crap?, what could have gone wrong to change really strong +ve feelings?
