Just about every PUA article I read is meant for the first meeting with a woman in a bar/club setting. But what about someone you already met and know but aren't necessarily friends?
Here's my situation at the moment: I met this girl at work about 3 years ago and never talked outside of work. I didn't pursue at the time because I was in a relationship. I haven't talked to her in about 2 years. Now, I'm not in that relationship anymore and I got back in touch with her a month ago. We've been talking a bit online and through texts for about a week now but nothing serious. We haven't been in person yet although we made plans to go out to the karaoke bar tomorrow night.
So my question is, what material should I try to use? I already know a bit about her, obviously I have her number/facebook/email, and have a bit of comfort since we used to work together. I don't have any momentum from a first meeting so should I still treat this as a Day 2?

When you first meet a woman its easier to place yourself in the sexual partner catergory because you make moves early on. In your situation.. she has already had time to observe and judge you to some degree.
Generally.. you are always risking the friendzone when you spend neutral time with a woman you haven't fucked yet.
I advise you to establish yourself as a love interest as quickly as possible. When you meet with her in person make sure you flirt with her. Tell her how cute she looks in whatever she is wearing. Make it clear that you are not hanging out with her to be BFF's. However.. don't take this too far and become overly aggressive or clingy either.
If she is romantically interested in you at all.. she will respond well to your flirting because she wants you to keep doing it. If she calls you "buddy" or makes any hit at friendship.. its probably too late.
Good luck. _________________ Women are smarter than you think... but not as smart as THEY think

Remember you work with her. she might think its just a friendly outting. Good point playher put out. Make it known you are not there to be BBF but not to aggressive. _________________ "Live life to the fullest, never look back, remember No regrets" J.f
