I met this girl in maccas after a night out clubbing. She’s 21 and pretty damn hot. I was really really drunk and super confident and started talking to her and was doing pretty damn good. I know she was into me, her and her mate hanged around maccas for over an hour. I didn’t have my phone so I couldn’t take her number, but I got my hands on her phone and called my phone from it so I got her number that way.

The problem is I was really pist, and although I’m 100% sure she was really into me initially, I also know I was super drunk and acted like a drunken idiot in front of her too. I waited 5 days then texting was as follows:

Wowo: Hey (name) right? I’ts wowo here, maybe you remember me.. I think I owe u a maccas coke

Babe: that u do

Wowo: Wow, looks like I’ve really upset you. Next time you see me at maccas just come say hi and I’ll not only get you a coke, I’ll make it a large coke

Admittedly that does sound pretty stupid. She didn’t give me much so I thought I’d try be funny (Yes I can see I didn’t do a good job of it).

Anyway, some damage control is needed! Am I still a chance? I know she was quite interested. I think there still could be some interest but she no doubt thinks I’m a bit of a tool. What do I do? HELP!

I think you have perfectly good chance. Just don't get drunk next time and play it like it was not such a big deal. It could happen to anybody. At least that's what i would do:P

She hasn't replied to my last message, and I don't know what to think of it. I'm not use to flaking. Usually I get fairly strong responses, so I'm just not sure how to handle this.

I'm thinking I may as well try again in a few days, maybe some persistence will pay off. I just don't know how to go about it seing as though my first attempt seems to have failed. Any Ideas?

Persistance is not a bad thing... if you don't cross the line into neediness and being annoying. If I were you, I wouldn't send a text saying, "What's up?" or "How's life." I don't know how much conversation you had with her, but I'd probably use some neg or joke you used from before. Specifically engage her with the intent to make her look down at her phone and have a smile spread across her face then bring up a type of food or place you both may have said you liked to segue into setting up a casual date. (Having her number, it's generally easier to set up another meeting with at least 1 commonality with her... not just bc she's hot)
