Alright, so my days in Japan are coming to an end, and I was able to open, and number-close successfully a very cute and funny local girl. We just went on an actual date, and I did (almost) everything that I have learned from being here in the forum, reading books, watching "The Pick Up Artist", etc. I wasn't able to even get a kiss-close.

The date started great, lots of rapport building, lots of asking questions and mirroring, and I was able to throw in some negs. Thank god she spoke enough english and was able to pick up on my playfulness while I was negging her. And then we fluffed for a bit during dinner, etc. Eventually we went to a bar in which I ran the ESP routine on her with much success followed by some more fluffing. She revealed to me that she had broken up with her long distance bf about two months ago, and so I tried to get her to stop thinking about it by changing threads, and by rolling off to go to the bathroom, etc. I then started with some Kino escalation (sp?). I was getting IOI's all night, loooots of her playing with her hair (shifting her hair over to the side of her neck that I wasn't on, thus showing me her very beautiful neck. And lots of twirling between her fingers), tryin' to grab my glasses, leaning in to talk as I leaned away, squeezing my hand when I did the ESP routine, and more.

All of this was followed by more fluffing and more kino, and more IOI's but at the end of the night, I didn't even get a kiss-close. Where did it go wrong? How can I ensure at least a kiss-close at the end of an admittedly (by both of us) great date?
