Well here's the problem, I'm fine with hanging around girls, fine with meeting new girls, fine with everything female related.

But then when I meet a new group of people, when there are guys who actually are more AMOG than I am, I always feel intimidated and thus cock blocked by them.

Now guys I'm friends with, for the most part I'm the group leader and who people look up to.

Any help with being more AMOG around new people?

I don't believe you have to be the alfa male. However, I believe you should be confident in what you do, and believe in yourself. Hang with people you like, remove all the jerks and douches from your life. Let no one shit on you.

Just be confident, have a good body language, be assertive and talkative. Be the chill and likable guy.

The only case you should be an AMOG is when your in a club and you're in a set, and when a guy comes to the group and is threatening to destroy your game. Then it's appropriate, because you want to save your game.

For the rest, being alfa is about not trying to think too hard about being alfa. If you think too hard about being the alfa male and/or AMOG, you come off as realy insecure. If you think each time you meet a new guy about how to out alfa or amog him, you're going the wrong way.

You say you're pretty good with girls, so you should be already quite alfa around them, right? Then around other guys just be a chill, calm, confident and likable guy. If someone disses you, just laugh slightly with it and don't focus your attention too much on the diss and/or diss him back. Talk about hobbies most guys have in common: football, girls, beer, ... If those guys seem loud alfa jerks (to my definition of alfa, being jerk isn't one of them) and you don't like them, remove them from your life.

I'm thinking it might just be a confidence issue around new guys, though I must give a reasonable impression as two of the guys I met a few days ago invited me to their parties, which is always a good sign.

I think it's just confidence of meeting new guys, thanks for the suggestions dudes.
