i only just saw something on tv which has got me thinking why there is such a thing as approach anxiety.

the tv programme is an american programme called 'beauty and the geek' if you are unfamilar with it basically intellegent geeks with no social skills are basically paired up with extremely hot girls (usually playboy models ). anyways the geeks were set a challenge to ask as many girls for their phone numbers and one of them didnt get any! after the task he and his partner (the beauty) were alone in a room and she asked him why he didnt get or ask for phone numbers to which he replied 'i couldn't approach them i feel so dirty'

i think that this is about mindset, the mindset of 'i am inferior to this woman and unworthy and undeserving to be in her presence' and that its very bad to be thinking about sex around this woman, without sex none of us would be here!

I find "Beauty and the geek" pretty ironic, the Beauty's typically don’t rate the geeks to start and certainly wouldn’t consider sleeping with them, but when they actually get to know said the geek, they either end up as friends or more... and it seems to happen allot with "Beauty and the geek", which just goes to show the true irony of it all.
