i got home today and i got the strangest msg on facebook! it was from a girl that i broke up with 7-8 years ago the girl i lost my virginity to and quite frankly screwed my love life up with women for a long time. she cheated on me WITH A CLOSE FRIEND!, WAS PREGNANT (had an abortion), and went round and told my friends about any problems in the bedroom...
then i get this:

i just want to say i am sorry for the past i was a bitch and fucked up in the head. You did not deserve any of it i was wrong. Any way hope your having a good life and all the best for the future. i know you cant stand me not that i blame you. i said sorry that all i wanted to say.

Ignore it, sounds like something has triggered her off, as you stated crazy, maybe pregnancy, personally I'd just ignore her because she'll wonder even more, or I'd be a complete dick and say, "It was the best thing ever, made me realise so much" and end it there.

I know this is a bit late, but there was a chance that this girl has changed her ways. Reality may have set in and smacked her in the face and gave her one hell of a wake up call or something. What she did was certainly shitty. But it was also 7/8 years ago. A lot could have happen to her in that time. I know I sound like I am giving her a pity vote, which I may be. But I don't see much cause to still bash the girl for something that happen years ago. As they say the past is the past. You can either dwell in it or move on. I am not saying one should forget what happen in the past, but more one doesn't need to keep on living in the past as if its current day.

i agree i was perfectly fine i'd put it behind me then she contacts me, to be honest i really wish she hadnt because now im thinking about it again, and it will always be a sensitive subject for me and its probably the only thing that gets me down

I think i screwd a girl up after a bad breakup
I did appologise a thousand times
We did seem to be on mutal terms for a while
Yet i still felt bad for what I did , so i messaged her apologizing proppally making excuses up for what i did and how immature i was ( i think its because i have a need for people to like me, but whatever )

But the thing is , is I didnt want to escalate it any further I just wanted to show this girl im actually not a bad guy and she was thankfull for my message her exact words " Ive been waiting for this for 3 years , Im glad youve said this and maybe the next time we meet I wont be so bitter " And she wasnt !

The point of that is we all make mistakes and shes probably trying to get the message across that she isnt a bad person shes only human !

From the guy thats been on the other end of this , its in the past , give her a break it will make you feel better
