I feel kinda bad. There's this girl that really likes me, she texts me all day everyday, telling me she loves me and shit. But I'm getting bored of her really quickly. Every time I take a little while to text back because I'm busy she gets mardy and starts moaning that I'm ignorant. Then last night she had a go at me asking why I'm "being off" with her, and sent me like 5 texts while I was asleep. Then she said "sorry babe, I can't sleep while I'm feeling this negative, I love you".

I feel bad because she likes me so much, yet I don't like her that much. I did really like her before, but not now. I realise how a hot chick feels now when a guy is chasing her. I didn't feel bad until my Dad and his girlfriend asked me if I was seeing her today, and I said no because she's really annoying me with being clingy and having a go at me like that. They told me I was just being an arsehole and that she's a poor girl. What do you guys think? I just dunno if I'm being harsh or not.

Well, have you told her that -you- don't love her? What is your response when she says that she loves you? Have you told her you consider her a friend? Is she just a friend in your eye's? Sounds like you may be leading her on if she continues to bombared you with texts and keeps saying she loves you?

If you want it to stop then you have to be straight with her. Be honest...It will only hurt her more the longer you leave it unfortunately.

My response is normally nothing, I ignore it, or change the subject. Think that might be why she lost it last night. When we first met up I told her I wasn't looking for a relationship, just a bit of fun. We had some fun, I started to like her a lot, so I told her so. Then she starts texting me every five minutes, and moaning when I don't text back. Yesterday she put me off, up until then I was considering maybe getting into a relationship with her, but I can tell she's gonna be really clingy.

I guess I do just have to be straight with her, tell her why she's annoying me and say it as it is. Thanks mate.

I get exacty the same thing from a girl I got close to around 2 years ago. We dropped contact for a year now she's been back in touch.

She tells me how she misses me, wants to go out, even asked me on holiday with her, I ignore her when I want, change the subject like you etc, and sh runs back for more, which shows, the less you chase, the more they do and tend to want you.

I still think being blunt and telling her things wont happen is your way to go. If your not interested, that's what I do, yet she stil goes on, but atleast she knows, and that's upto her to deal with things now.
