Hay guys,

I work at a Subway restaurant so talking to people is part of my job. Im supposed to give a warm and polite "hello" when a customer walks in and a nice "have a good day" when they leave.

Whenever an attractive woman comes in I'll occasionally ask her how her day is/was and most of the time it's just a short reply (king of akward). Alot of the time when i say goodbye they wont even look me in the eye.

I understand that making Rolls at subway is a pretty low value job. But i wanted to know how I could prolong the conversation without being akward or atleast get them to look me in the eye when i leave.

Thanks

simple bro. first ask them how their day went. then ask them did you do anything interesting today thats worth bragging about. they will either say 1-yes and go on and talk about it or 2-no. if they answer 2 then be like well what did you do today and ill be the one to judge whether it was interesting. then say after all im the one thats making subway sandwhiches all day.

yes its making fun of you but it will make her laugh and allow her to remember you.

good luck. thats just my 2 cents

Let's be real, being a 'sandwich artist' is NOT going to lead to many on the job pickups. Instead, use the available women to just practice talking.

I was re-reading Rules Of The Game earlier, just skimming in and out, and one thing stood out. Style defines a succesful PUA as a guy who tries to make women feel good, and not a guy who tries to make himself feel good through women.

Apply this. Try complimenting the women, maybe on something they're wearing. Or perhaps tease them over their sandwich or something.

Just have fun, and build confidence for the field.

Anybody who says working a supposedly "low-value" job means you get laid less has obviously either never worked a shitty job or has no idea what they're talking about. I have a great job now, but I have worked a large variety of lame ones in the relatively short time I've been a part of the workforce and the ease of picking up girls has been constant throughout.

Why? Because I'm not about to let where I am or what I'm supposed to be doing stop me from being me.

That's exactly what you need to do. You want to pick up some hot chick that comes in for a sandwich? Then set aside your duties as a professional sandwich artist long enough to make her attracted to you the same way you would make any other girl attracted.

Then, once she likes you, say "You're a bad influence, keeping me distracted from work like this" with a mischievous grin and see what happens.

Your boy,
870

Well said 870.

Don't let a "lesser value" job, knock you down, your human, a person, value yourslf, atleast you work. Again ask open end questions, obviously be polite and have that smile on your face. Being happy/confident goes a long way, especially when a woman first senses it.

Good luck.

I'm all for being positive and framing your job, whatever status it is, in the best way possible.

But to say it doesn't make a difference is nonsense...all else being equal in terms of game, looks etc...you're seriously telling me a high flying investment banker will be AS attractive as a McDonalds burger flipper?

So an evolutionary preference for a high status male is actually nonsense?

Maybe I'm misunderstanding you guys...

Whilst your point is valid, a lot of attraction comes from first impressions, how you put youself about etc. A lot of the time it isn't in an working environment anyway.

I say keep doing what you do, and become that better person all round in your own little circle.
