I have known this girl for a year but we've only been officialy dating about 1 month, shes leaving the country for 2 years at the end of this week. were in love and I love spending time with her. She challenges me and is hella fun to be around.

Last night we went to a seedy club but it plays our kind of music. It was the last day of the World cup here in Cape Town and we were having a great time..

things were going great till I said I was tired and I have a meeting today so we should leave around 3. She says, no were staying till 6, so i say well, then ill just leave without you... jokingly ofcourse. she looks at me and says: "fine you wouldnt!" .... I see this as a challenge, and I get in my car and go home!

Thinking that she'd just hop into a cab and meet me at my place which is only a few miles away.

She doesn't. She stays at the club, gets hit on my all these horny dodgy AFCs and eventually gets a ride with a bunch of guys to my place. These guys are trying there luck and being pushy. she gets to my place hysterical and angry.

We argue, kind of make up but now she says she doesn't believe I love her because if i did, I wouldn't have left her there.

Now its the morning, shes laying in bed next to me, we have 1 week left and I'm wondering if I really was as big a douche as she says i was... I mean she coulda just taken a f*cking cab!

I apologized profusely cos I do care about her tons, and I was just trying to prove a point that I'm not those AFC chumps that she normally plays (shes a total playa) and even the guys she was chatting to last night told her this.

Any thoughts?

My take on it, if she cant respect that you have a meeting the next day then what does that say about her love for you, or even her as a person. Relationships are all about give and take, if she behaves like this most of the time then shes not very giving or compromising is she. ie. If this carries on your relationship will be hell for you!

ps. I was in Cape Town myself last night, what a f*cking party!!

Ye this months been one big party! Which is why last night i was kind of chilled. Its been a while since Ive spent almost every weekend out till 5 or 6am... Its her last weekend so i don't think she is not understanding to be honest... and in her defence this is the first time anything like this has happened.

She just woke up now and things are abit less tense... we'll see how the day goes...

I reckon its a typical case of me not wanting to be pushed, and her not used to the fact that i cant be pushed. I suppose each situation has to be assessed on merit.

Sucks that shes leaving but hey, such is life.

Indeed this month has been manic, and what a pleasure having all these foreign ladies right in our backyard! (even though our locals are still some of the hottest in the world, having traveled to many many countries I say this with confidence! (us Cape Townians really couldnt ask for more!)
