Right, well basically me and a couple of friends stumbled on to this underground community early this year and the 4 of us want to get into the game, but they are constantly thinking of excuses not to come out and practice the stuff.

As some of you on here have much more experience at this than i do all i want to know is, will i be better off going alone? will i learn quicker?

Can only speak for myself but you don't need people holding you back. The only way to change your friend's behaviour is go out in the field and learn the skills yourself. Then you can do it in front of them and that will begin to open them up, if you feel you actually need them at all at that point.

Personally, I prefer solo sarging. At your stage you need to get past AA and having them around won't help with that.
The only drawback to solo sarging is lack of social proof. You need to get out there and chill out alpha females in clubs, bars and coffee shops, which will help significantly with approaching far more than your currently dickless (sorry but its the truth) friends will.

Yeah I agree, I solo sarge a lot, am going tonight in fact.
I still have mates that I go out with, and they are single but don't "do sarging" so I just don't sarge with them. It makes them feel awkward and they are mates, so I just chill with them.

It does get a bit frustrating when they begin to bitch about still being single. But as the guy above says,

"some guys just CAN'T sarge"

No point letting them drag you down to their AFC level.

If you can't find anyone to go with you, then go ahead and go solo... But I would recommend trying to find some other friends (not those) who will go with you. I think at your stage, it helps to have the support of some friends.

Consider doing daygame. Going alone to sarge at nightclubs is a BAD idea, IF you are new.

Yes, alone is the best! Unless you go with a teacher or more experienced PUA. The worst thing is when you go out with someone who know you from before. That person is not gonna accept the new you. Plus it is humiliating to fail!
