I see a lot of people saying his stuff his out of date, if i was still to use this would it work? And what exactly is wrong with his material cos i am going through his stuff along with david deangelos stuff.

Out of date? Then im an out of date PUA LOL.

I had been using the MM convined with DD for a time now, getting a hudge ammount of HBs trying ti qualify to me, and being able to choose who is with me instead of waiting for them to choose me. Being the price rocks.

Im not very attractive phisicly, right now im overweight, 102kg, and im 184cm tall, but using MM + DD i had get what i want, HBs of the range 7 to 9.

Right now i starting what seems like a LTR with a dreamy HB 8.5, so yes, i consider MM as a very good method.

MM is ok but it's weakness is the DHV.
If you ask me the DHV is out of date. If you can talk with an attractive personality the girls imagination will do the DHVing for you. Which is great given people tend to see the world the way that they want to. But if you have high value already and you run into a DHV story she'll probably begin thinking "why is he telling me this".

That and the mystery method doesnt account for any natural or direct game which is very usefull at times.

Yeah, like he said, the specific openers, negs, stories ect etc, can get old, but the principles behind it all will "never" be out of date.

The DHVs can be various, not only stories. The stories have to be used in the right moment or the girl will think u r an arrogant idiot.

I personally use DHV stories thar ACTUALLY happened to me, so it feels to the girl congruent and can be backed up by a wingman or friend. Love to see the sparkle in girls eyes thinking "this guy has an interesting life" and they start IOIng me like crazy.

Other type of DHVs i use are situational, non verbal and preselection.

Example, i go out with many friends, and always im one of the alphas of the group (situational DHV), in an average night i get like 15 girls to come to hug me, and lots giving IOIs (preselection DHV), my body language is calm, slow, in control of myself and i talk really calm with girls, leading the conversation back and forth between me and her, and not affraid of eye contact (non verbal DHV)

Mystery method is a delicated balanced system, and must be practiced a lot for it to work properly. Many PUAs give up on the way and go to easyer methods that will get them laid faster, so they discart it or call it "out of date". How can human relations get "out of date"? Didnt knew there was an expiring date to urself.

Mystery says MM is more oriented on genuienly get to know the girl, that way u make sure she is fit for a LTR, but ofcourse can be used also to get laid.

The Mystery Method is VERY informative. Before I read the MM, I've read other e-books, but they always raised more questions than answers in my head.

First of all, if you are new to PUA, you need to read Mystery's stuff... His 3 stages are timeless. This is information all pua's must know... Once you have this foundation, then you can criticize some things... For example, I think building attraction BEFORE conversation (through fashion, in order to get body language signals of interest) is extremely important. But as far as knowing the stages of an interaction, the Mystery Method is irreplaceable and personally, i think much better than David DeAngelo's stuff.

*clap clap* Exactly the point of my post above, if u r not able to show a value different that the rest of the 30-per-night guys, how the heck u get the interest of a nice girl? (here we exclude ninfomaniacs, desperate women, non socially savy, etc...).

U want to get an awesome girl with some brains and some looks? Then u HAVE TO DHV to create attraction beyond phisical.

The Mystery Method is based on utilising hard wired attraction traits within a woman that even she doesn't know exist on a conscious level,the science behind it (evolutionary Psychology) is well established.

As a foundation to build upon the MM is a perfect start,practically all PUA methods incoporate it at some level.

There is just this new trend, called "direct game" and "natural game".

I get the feeling sometimes that people get ashamed on their pua stuff, so the thing what they do is putting a complete emphasize on inner game and letting the outer game be the result of it.
Typical quotes of "natural game" lovers are: "don't think too much, just do it", "don't think too long about openers. it's not about what you say, but how you say it", etc.

People who like doing direct game, are more into passion and sexuality. They want to make out with a hot girl and fuck her, without having to use hours of routines on her. They're the kind of lazy guys, however, i do respect them because you need balls for it and i love passion and sexuality .

This is why people sometimes say that MM, more or less indirect game, is out of date. also, a lot of people in the community found out that a lot of openers and negs don't work always, and that they're seen as unnatural and jerks.
Again, i think i've red somewhere that MM was designed for drunken party girls. i'm not a huge fan of using MM outside clubs, because there people have less bitch shields etc. and you have to use more natural game.


I'd say that you should use the method which works best for you. personally, i use the three of them equally much, depending on the situation and the girl.

I was refering to verbally DHVing. "I was hanging out at my friends club in vegas and the funniest thing happend" she's thinking "why didnt he just say that the funniest thing happend when he was in vegas? why did he have to mention it was his mates club?" Dont underestimate a womans intuition...

That and if you want to go that way I'd suggest reading Venusian Arts Revelation and Magic Bullets, they break it up a little more and offer more alternatives.

I personaly dont like using routines to often and the mystery method basicly relies on it.

Haha the anger. Na boys you miss understood me. I was refering to the way Mystery teaches DHV story telling in the MM video training seminars.

The other DHV's were reffered to as "characteristics of an alpha male".
