I went out twice with this HB9. We had a great time and hooked up (no sex) both times. Then she got flaky all of a sudden. I can’t figure out any other reason for her flakiness other than poor logistics (we live an hour and a half apart). She gave me flaky excuses 3 weekends in a row for why she couldn’t hang out, but I don’t think she lost interest in me completely because she would still send me a few random texts each week. After her 3rd flaky excuse I did not respond. I stopped calling and texting her completely. We haven’t had any contact in about a month.

I was thinking of texting her something like “How’s your summer going?” to see if there’s still any interest. Is this a good move? I’m not exactly sure how a freeze out works. Also, if she says something like “Why did you stop calling me” or “I thought you were mad at me”, how should I respond?

Personaly I would just go off and get another lay. Hot girls are hot girls and your always gona have competition. My guess would be that another guy got in her pants first and she got ASD for you.
Ive always said the worst day for a day2 is sunday. Because there's a high chance she'll go out on sat nite and hook up with another guy and then you cop the ASD and get flaked on.
Though if you want to contact her again I think that message would be fine. (I'm in Australia though so IDK I guess the US would be the same). And if she was to ask why so long I'd probably through out something like "oh I was seeing another girl and didnt have alot of time. Why didnt you message me?" (turn it around on her). If she asks about the other girl I'd say "oh she turned out to be abit wierd so I broke it off. how about your guy?" eg: her; "what guy" you; "oh well you flaked out on me 3 times you litlle shit so I figured there was another guy in the picture (playfully)" ect ect.
