I run into this a lot.

The hot chicks who show attraction to me many times seem to come with their cockblocker/ gatekeeper friend in a bar/party situation.

The other night I got frustrated and ejected them both because of ONE. It was a bad mistake as the hot chick was being cool as hell, but the friends CB vibe was rubbing off.

I tried at first to be friendly with CB. Asking her questions, building rapport,etc. It was going well, but the HB was getting a little frustrated, you could obviously tell they were in a struggle. They even got testy with each other at one point (insert cat sound).

After about 20 minutes of convo, I started giving attention to the HB. She pulls out photos, tells me of her ranch and horses, I say "Whoa...I GOTTA ride some horses soon...hey do you dig hiking too....etc. blah blah blah". She was like "I love it". Start telling her about trails I know of next to great scenery and BOOM!!!!!

CB interjects with "We hardly know you and you weren't honest with us about what you do for a living"....(I told her I worked at Burger King in the intro phase and the HB wasn't around so there was no 'us' to begin with)

I totally lost my cool and went into full on dick mode. I told the CB I didn't answer her question cuz she bored the shit outa me. Told her that she's boring and wasting my time, basically told her she's a petulant gatekeeper for her hot friend.


This didn't go down well....LOL. I totally ejected and knocked over the chess table. The HB felt like crap, the CB almost started crying and saying how she sucks at social skills because she feels like she's stuck in a LTR....and I looked like a mad villain while reaming them that they're both undeserving of my attention at this point. I walked away from them and smoked a cig came back and they moved seats, which was cool with me at that point.

HB walked out later with some dude that was sooooo creepy and smarmy. He got lucky because her esteem was trounced she picked the bottom of the barrel or some last minute validation.

Anyway,

The question is, how to deal with CBs and this type of episode in the future.???
