Bit of background: I'm not bad looking but I've got self-confidence issues, can't picture myself as an alpha, and don't have any experience in the bed or on the playground. Basically I desperately need to bring up my game.

So I'm vacationing in Dubai right now (got some family and friends here) and last night I went to a family friend's house and got to know his 3 daughters. The youngest one (my age) instantly caught my eye. I really haven't talked to her much except for a couple of words about FIFA teams and other small talk. Anyway the sisters invited me to a bar to watch the game. I didn't want to be too eager so I told them we'd definitely do it some other night since I already had plans that night. So I got her number and left their house.

A bit later, I called her and told her my cousin and I might show up after all. So we go to the bar, and it's pretty much empty except for the 3 girls and a couple of their friends. I chat with the group a little, go to the bar for a couple of drinks with my cuz, and left during half-time since the mood was so boring. I told her I was gonna go see my friends since they were travelling the next day. Then I invited her to come to "our" bar tomorrow (today) since it's way more lively and cheerful. So we just shook and left.

Pretty good scenario for any other dude, but I still pussied out. I don't know what to do next, how to act, what to talk about, etc. How do I get her interested when I can't stop thinking she's way out of my league? And how do I handle this without pissing off her dad?

You ought to focus your skill building on having fun. If you were hanging out with women and weren't making it fun for yourself, then that's something you really need to get down before you can advance to the next phase with a woman. You never want to go in there expecting the woman to entertain you because you're taking a passive role, which puts her in the active role, and that's a very unsexual situation.

This all comes down to confidence. What issues do you have? Is it your looks? Life? Are other people's opinions of you crucial to you?

I see what you mean. but in situations where I'm the only guy who isn't from the "clique" I really don't know what to talk about other than shitty, boring small talk (eg so where do you all know each other? oh work? what do you do? etc) which always reaches a dead end because I happen to be a shitty conversationalist.
Looks: I'm average looking but I've got no build whatsoever. Not exactly scrawny but I don't work out much. Also, I don't have a projective voice which makes it hard to play the alpha role, and don't know how to force a laugh which hurts the "sense of humor" aspect.

Also, yeah I can get a bit paranoid, sometimes to the point where I seem restless (and people sometimes ask me what's bothering me because they see me looking concerned/stressed)

As a plus, I used to have eye contact issues but I think I got a lot better at it.

So yea seeing this girl being a hb9 I'm really not that outgoing around her, it's like I've got a mental block filtering everything I wanna say.

Alright so here's what happened.Yesterday afternoon she called me up to meet her at this posh bar in the outskirts of the city. We had no other plans so my 2 cousins and I show up, only to find they didn't save us any seats and there was nowhere to stand. So I walked up to her sister and told her we were leaving, we assumed you'd made arrangements. We'll work something out tonight.

So we go to our favourite bar, and hb texts me

hb: we r stain here for the nxt game n my fonez off so col me on this nb

I wanted to punish her so I didn't answer. about an hour later:

hb: shoo(what) u dont wanna call me

me (pretty tipsy at this point): I try to spend time with you coz you seem like great company but your always surrounded by lots of people.. Its ok wel fix something up later.

hb: Ya wht we can we do I'm social

I didn't reply, about 2am she texts me again

hb: I'm in bed alone..hehe..just got back home..

me: To bad i cantbe there with you to keep you company.

hb: )

me: What? No intentions, yet

hb: Yet?!!

me: Your gorgeous and i like keeping an open mind. But that wont come in the way of anything, dont worry.

Stopped answering at this point cuz I was passing out.

So yea, pretty good for a beginner,amirte? Problem is, I was drunk and texting. If I see her again Ill have an entirely different personality, soo any tips on how to keep the good vibes without looking like an idiot?
