so i was in target yesterday night and ran into a lone HB8. just asked for some situational opinion, followed by small talk, followed by number close.

how soon should i text her, or should i call directly?
and how soon/after how many text exchanges should i suggest a meet-up for drinks?

Some will say text her something cocky/funny right away, others will say don't text at all. Either way is probably fine.

Do not ask her out via text. Wait a day or two, then call her and make plans to get together immediately.

thanks for your reply.

i just called and left a message the following day, dont really care if i lose her.

did not want to wait too long, because she might forget me by then. i had like 10 mins with her that night (mistake, i know), usually if i talk for ~20 mins, i can get away with 5 days wait time ime, before calling.

the girl is a lawyer, usually they are fairly direct in their communication.
