Say you see a woman out in a supermarket, or in public in general, but she has her children in tow.

Is game still advisable then? I've often thought about it, but then the kids' presence is a cockblock. And also it's uncomfortable for them to see a "strange" man hit on their mother.

You could make it work if you knew what you were doing, but the overwhelming chances are that you're gonna end up looking like a REAL creeper and possibly scarring the poor tykes for life.

There is nothing wrong with that. I have tried it and it worked several times. Be normal, have confidence and use your favorite opener. If she has a daughter say that she has a cute sister. She will laugh then carry on the conversation from there.
