I am looking out for advice on how to start PUA. I have started reading some of the books recommended on this sight and a finished reading double your dating. I was woundering how other people started, and how they found what technique works for you?

Once you find confidence, you really don't have to focus too much on your game anymore. Thinking about it, there are dozens of different methods that guys use, some don't even use game. Each person gets with girls.

As far as your question goes, if one method is not working for you, chances are you just have not mastered it yet. Why learn 10 different methods and not master any of them? Game is not a magical thing. It is a skill. Try mastering one style. It can generally take around a year or so to master (provided you practice just about EVERY weekend).

For example, you want to learn martial arts. Would you start learning tai kwan do then say "ehh this is just ok" and try judo? That would be somewhat pointless. All types of martial arts work to serve their purpose, you just need to master one style.

Well I started with a Gambler/Juggler method because I found it most natural.
But I suggest you find out whether you need a 1 2 3 step guide or you are a natural at first to select a method.
Then move on to dropping the process and just be yourself.
