Ok, so basically i'm asking about oneitous. As it seems to be something that everyone goes through there should be lots of help on this. I'm not saying I'm in love with one person, and i might be overthinking this completely, but i would like to know what you think.

If you like someone, lets say you have a girl in mind who you would really like to sleep with. But you are not in love with her, is is still the wrong mindset to go out gaming all the girl at a party, but with the intention of really wanting just one?

Ohh and Hi, i lurked for a while but thought it was finally time to register. Fyi, im an average young guy, not too bad with girls but would like to better himself.

No that's not wrong at all. Oneitous is basically when you just can't get over a girl. There's only one girl on your mind all the time and it prevents you from talking to other girls. It's bad because if you lose that one girl, you're screwed.

So if we're in a club and we're set on one girl, that's fine. But if she rejects you, you can't be all sad and pouty, you just move to the next one.

Pretty much oneitis is when you want one specific girl, and you don't really look at other women.

Your question confuses me immensely. It doesn't seem like the wrong mindset, unless you are gaming other girls only to avoid talking to the one you want to sleep with.
