First off, I am brand new to PU. I went out with a friend the other night, and I saw 3 girls standing in a group. I had met one previously so I approached, opened, and started small talk. Things, according to my own opinion, were going well. I made small talk about met the friends.

My wingman came over shortly afterward so I could talk to my target. Her friends left and talked to my buddy which I thought was a good sign, and I proceeded with asking her opinion on a situation I had encoutered.

I used my own modified version of the facebook opener. After a back story, I asked her her,"Should I consider it a compliment or creepy that someone I met at work would add me and send a message?" She fumbled for a minute on how to answer, so in guiding her I ask, "So what do you think? Would it be creepy if say, I were to add you?" She followed and said, "No, that's not creepy because we've met, and talked, and I know who you are."

After more fluff, I told her that I was starving, and I had to go. That I'd like to finish up conversation so I'll just add you to facebook :D . I did not go back to my buddy because he was doing his thing with her friends. I text him...told him to meet me outside as a time constraint.

The next afternoon I add her to facebook, and she accepts. Here is where I think my learning experience comes into play. When she accepted, I sent her a comment later say that it was good running into her again the other day. She follows by adding, "You too!" as a follow-up comment.

I feel I did the wrong thing with that comment because I did not say anything open-ended. I made a statement that could only be answered one way. She and I are both regulars where I met her so I'll definately see her again. Which is not a bad thing. The only thing is I don't know where to go from here. I feel like I just have a wider social network now, and no date.
