She was all over te place, saying she wanted/doesnt want a BF back and forth. Wanting me to be monogomous but not wanting to date. I held my composure for 3 months until i couldnt anymore and i kinda snapped because of the uncertainty and i started acting clingy and needy i guess. So we ended it and i told her how i felt(real AFC shit, saying how ill always love you blah blah blah), and that im not sure if we could be friends and not to hit me up on my birthday. She said she would wait til I contact her.
Fast forward two weeks and she wishes me"Happy birthday Pal" lol I used to call her pal because she wasnt my GF and its like a backhanded compliment.
I then proceed to tell her I appreciate er being nice but im trying to get over her and I would like it if she didnt message me. She then talks shit and we end up having a blow up, with her saying tat "after the way u acted IDK if i e ver want to talk to you again.goodbye"
I know that i acted AFC( I have made huge strides over the past two weeks), but my question is should i apologize for acting like a jerk, or is it not worth it.( Will I look like an even bigger AFC?)
Sorry if this is in the wrong section.

Asking her not to contact you because it would make things harder for you emotionally (as much as I understand the sentiment) is a sign of weakness compared to just ignoring the messages. She already messaged you once when you weren't expecting her to, if she does it again this time yay for you, otherwise no big loss.
